I haven’t had time to update anything much lately – a freelance job turned into an (almost) full-time job – with a title and everything! And also … I have been getting on with the sequel to Few, the second book in the Few and Far Between trilogy.

Those of you who have read Few will know that the next book is called Between and continues where Few left off. In actuality Between starts about a year after the events of Few, but TBH I didn’t know that until I started writing! I’ve got eighteen chapters of the first draft done so far (around 60,000 words). The story follows Charlie and her friends as they set off on a journey across country to find a mythical tribe in the north, avoiding the Cult and other dangers and meeting a number of new characters along the way.

Anyway, I best get back to it!
