The Jed are one of the oldest post-Collapse religions. They are a peaceful, knowledge-loving faith who study the old ways and revere pre-collapse knowledge, particularly geek culture. For this reason they often attract Knowledge Divers to their ranks and offer a peaceful alternative to the Cult for men who don’t agree with the study embargo imposed by the Few.

Once a flourishing religion who met and worshiped in every corner of the land at temples called Kinos, they have now been pushed aside by the Few and persecuted into hiding by the Cult. They are tolerated in the Free Lands, although the Free Landers’ suspicion of Knowledge Divers means they are not as open as they might be. In the Few lands they meet in secret and travel alone or in pairs whilst they dare not show themselves in Cult controlled territories where their lives could be at risk.
